Rank wise Distribution across Groups is the type of analysis that can be used only for Sort into group type questions. Unlike calculating the average rank across groups, this analysis type gives analysis for each individual group and attribute present in the Sort into Group type question.


Sort into Groups is a type of question where respondents are asked to sort the items/attributes by dragging and dropping them into groups. Users must use this analysis to see patterns in ranking and differences across groups.


To create your Rank wise Distribution across Groups analysis, in the Analysis wizard select Sort into Groups type question and click on Next.


Now choose the analysis type -  Rank wise Distribution across Groups and click on Next


You will be directed to different viewing options based on your selected Analysis type. Select view as grid (No Chart) or any other chart type and click on Finish.



Your Rank wise Distribution across Groups Analysis will get created and the available measures for this type of analysis are  Count, Column% and Row%.
